Beyond the Classroom
“Every journey begins by listening to those who have walked the path before us.”
Commissioned by Tsing Hua College of National Tsing Hua University, we documented a student visit to Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This visit brought together two generations — young students beginning to explore their future possibilities, and professionals who have already stepped onto the international stage.
Through documentary photography, we focused on capturing the moments beyond the formal setting: the curiosity in students’ expressions, the conversations between generations, and the exchange of knowledge that inspires future leaders.
Rather than simply recording an event, we wanted these images to preserve a meaningful moment of transition — where experience is shared, perspectives are expanded, and the next generation begins to imagine their own role in the world.
